Act of Aggression: Reboot Edition is an iteration of Act of Aggression, released for free to all owners of the original game on March 21, 2016. The Reboot Edition aims to overhaul many of the gameplay features of the original game.
The Reboot Edition was developed in response to the subpar reception that the original Act of Aggression received after its launch.

- Single-resource economy.
- Improved unit reactivity.
- Unit facelifts.
- Up-front payments for construction.
- Air strike is modified, airplanes are faster than before so now players can use airplanes only by airstrike call and target designation.
- F-35 Lightning is replaced to Avenger Drone.
- Stryker MGS is replaced to M8 Thunderbolt, MC to FCS Mortar, ICV to ACCE.
- Scale of Units increased.
- Campaign not Supported.
- US FOB&LEM and Cartel Extension Module is removed due to changes in economy.
