The Tigre is an attack helicopter of the Chimera.

Gameplay[]

Tigres are overall highly versatile units. By default, they have flares, incendiary rockets and autocannons, with upgrades adding ATGMs, AAMs, and a range upgrade that allows indirect fire plus stealth detection.

Usable in any role, Tigres supersede the utility of almost any other helicopter, perhaps save for the SuperHind, being effective against almost anything. Their rockets can be used to flush enemy infantry out of buildings and then take them down with autocannons. Both of their additional missiles have a high rate of fire, shredding groups of lighter vehicles with ease and in higher quantities, can shut down an entire assault. Their range upgrade only makes things much better, as Tigres can even snipe enemy units outside of their sight range without wandering into the line of fire, stealthed or not, and then quickly take them down. Unlike most other counterparts, Tigres also have flares to ensure it won't fall to small quantities of enemy anti-air units. It also only takes credits instead of other advanced resources, meaning a large swarm of them can be fielded with proper management.

Despite their performance, Tigres have a couple of issues. Like the Rhino, Tigres are expensive and fragile, so getting the most out of them can be somewhat difficult given the expenses required to field many of them. Enemy anti-air units able to exploit indirect fire are also a huge threat, since Tigres lack stealth and can be easily fired upon by even a Stinger, SAS or Grinch. Though their missiles do fire quickly and have decent overall damage, they do not pack the necessary punch to intercept or destroy vehicles in a timely fashion, nor are they the best against buildings. It also heavily relies on its upgrades to make a serious impact, without which it is only borderline situational. They continue, however, to serve as valuable support in any situation.
